A more dynamic flow of sequenced postures accompanied by music. Emphasis is on linking the breath with movement, and building the practise of breathing deeply accompanied by asanas, or yoga postures.

About the classes

Classes are taught multi-level, and options are given of level 1, 2 and 3, so all are welcome from beginners to intermediate to more advanced.

The emphasis is on being respectful, mindful and compassionate towards yourself and your body.

Classes are taught in a non-competitive atmosphere, with emphasis on honouring how you are, and how your body feels, in that present moment.

FAQ:

Am I too old to begin yoga?

No one is ever too old to start. As long as you can breathe, you can practise yoga.

 

I am completely inflexible and know nothing of yoga, am I able to attend?

Absolutely! Yoga class is the best place for you and everyone has to start somewhere.

 

I have injuries and other conditions that stop me being active can I still do yoga?

As long as you speak to your teacher about any conditions or injuries before beginning your class, then postures can be modified accordingly.
